So the blog is nearly a year old! Time flies when you are hefting heavy bells 🙂
It’s been a great year on a personal and competitive front. I’ve learnt how to deal with injuries better, I know (even) more about nutrition and physiology. I’ve won medals. I’ve improved my lifting technique. I’m working with heavier bells in all lifts. I’ve achieved some long-standing barbell goals. I’ve broken my triathlon virginity. I’m enjoying my running (in moderation) again. And I’ve been learning how to snowboard 🙂
Hubby and I have been on several holidays (well why not?! 😉 ) and been able to relax away from work, and in my case training. We’ve been cycling together a lot more (though he is so much better than me). We’ve caught up with friends and family who are not local. We’ve made time to get outside in the better weather, and to hang out in the back garden with the furries.
All in all, I think we’ve managed to pack an awful lot into 2014. So I’d like to raise a festive glass to you all and say *cheers*, and to wish you every health and happiness for 2015! Happy Christmas!
Here’s to everyone’s goals for 2015, kettlebell or otherwise 🙂
